Shared Services & Market Leverage

This programme of activity has been developed as a direct result of local authority feedback and discussion which highlighted the need for practical solutions which could offer much longer term benefits.

Waste Management Services Framework

Working in partnership with the London Waste and Recycling Board (LWARB), iESE has developed the UK’s first Waste Services Management Framework with the potential to generate £85 million worth of savings

The WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FRAMEWORK has been co-designed with service providers and is a transparent, speedy and cost-effective route to procuring a comprehensive waste and street care service.

This procurement solution has already completed the initial key stages – the ITT development, the OJEU entry, the PQQ assessment. This then allows local authorities to run a ‘mini competition’ across a number of pre-qualified suppliers from the framework, which is legally compliant and meets your waste management needs.

Cllr Paul Bettison, Chairman of iESE said ‘With waste management accounting for over £3billion of public sector spend annually, the framework will start to leverage savings for both councils and contractors in the procurement process, and ultimately lead to more effective services’.
