Consultation and Community Insight

This project is investigating, developing and piloting approaches to delivering consultation and community profiling in partnership. This will include a community profiling pilot and shared consultation activities across Sussex.

What did we set out to achieve?

• Develop a tool to share consultation across Sussex
• Joint procurement of a community profiling tool
• Run a number of locally relevant community profiling pilots
• Sussex data sharing protocol

What have we achieved so far?

• Created community profiles for every East Sussex County division for the new East Sussex County Council members’ induction, which are being used in these ways:
  • Profiles are available to all East Sussex County Council staff and members on the intranet
  • Profiles have been made available to all East Sussex partners.
• Developed an increased understanding of Customer Insight and community profiling by all partner organisations.
