Progress through Partnership

Progress_through_partnership

Progress through Partnership (PtP) exists to build the capacity of partnerships in the south east. The programme offers responsive and flexible resources to provide targeted support to partnerships.

What did we set out to achieve?

What have we achieved so far?

Independent evaluation of the PtP programme identified following benefits:

64 of the 74 LSPs in the region (86%) completed a self-assessment in 2008 showing a shift of focus from process to delivery compared to the previous year. A further self-assessment is scheduled for Autumn 2009

Over £500,000 of funding has been drawn down by LSPs in the region for bespoke development activities based on their self-assessments. A comparison of work carried out so far by LSPs in 2007 and 2008/9 is available here.

How can your council get involved?

Completing a self assessment helps your LSP understand its development needs and allows access to financial support from PtP.

Arranging specific support for development activities or LAA delivery enables you to access PtPs menu of support offers

PtP provides a named Area Lead for each partnership in the south east providing a first port-of-call for your partnership and ongoing dedicated support and advice.
