Collaborative Procurement Hubs
IESE supports the initial set-up and development of collaborative initiatives through pump-prime funding, expertise and support in kind, performance monitoring and sharing lessons learned in order to achieve efficiencies, enhance procurement capabilities, and support and improve service outcomes through collaborative procurement.
What have we achieved so far?
- The collaborative procurement initiatives that IESE funded with pump-prime money from 08-09 have achieved a total of over £1.4 mlllion so far
- In addition to the cashable benefits, the Hubs have achieved non-cashable savings in the order of ca. £430k so far and an expectation to repeat this in year three
- Hub initiatives have led to an increase in the procurement capability in the region, have led to standardisation of processes and documentation, to better insight and control over expenditure and have enabled support for embedding policy through procurement initiatives
