Collaborative Procurement of Legal Services – Surrey case study
Summary
The Surrey sub-region in the South East, consisting of 12 Authorities in total (1 County Council and 11 Borough & District Councils), have recently put in place a framework agreement for the provision of Legal Services. The collaborative approach of putting in place a framework agreement for the hole Surrey region has saved individual Councils’ staff time and is expected to deliver around 10% savings in cashable savings over the 4 year duration of the contract, equating to an estimated £1 mln.
