Partnership working support services
This project aims to the sharing of information, analysis and research about communities in Buckinghamshire to aid strategic and operational decision-making.
What did we set out to achieve?
- To create an efficient, effective and collaborative partnership framework
- Enable partnerships and partner agencies to share information to aid decision-making
What have we achieved so far?
- We have agreed an approach for undertaking a joint SCS review across five LSPs
- Established a shared evidence base for SCS priorities
- Drafted priorities which are linked across the LSPs within a set of common themes and outcomes, but acknowledge the distinctive nature of different localities
- Created a road map for the future integration of community planning activities
How can your council benefit?
Our next step is recruitment of a Project Manager who will be in office over two years and will develop a partnership framework to make sense of the information landscape. The Project Manager will be expected to find out what other solutions are being developed by other areas and bring forward appropriate proposals locally, and this will be a partnership post, accountable to the Policy Officers Group.
