Partnership manager

This project aims to improve two-tier working, resulting in more efficient decision-making and working practices.

What did we set out to achieve?

• Reduce the number of individuals attending meetings
• Progress on delivering Local Area Agreements and Local Indicator targets
• Support the development of partners in preparation for Comprehensive Area Assessments
• Support the District Leaders Group and District Chief Executives, through coordinating meetings and producing research and reports
• Support and coordinate district involvement in delivery sub-groups and ensure district lead groups achieve their goals

What have we achieved so far?

• Successful recruitment of a Partnership Manager
• A review of the Partnership Manager post has been carried out with partners, showing:
  • Unanimous agreement that the post had improved the effectiveness of partnership working in Oxfordshire
  • Significant performance benefits
