Multi Area Agreement (MAA)
This project aims to determine the suitability and feasibility of a Multi Area Agreement for the Milton Keynes South Midlands (MKSM) area, and is in the process of being reviewed by the Project Board.
What did we set out to achieve?
- To determine the suitability and feasibility of an MAA
- If an MAA is suitable, to develop it or a similar sub-regional agreement across the Milton Keynes South Midlands (MKSM) Area for signing in December 2009
What have we achieved so far?
- A Collective Working Agreement is in place
- A Secondee is in post
- Agreed a delivery timetable
- Undertaken a report setting out framework for Collective Working Agreement and the MAA
- Project plan deadlines and milestones are on target
How can your council benefit?
We have presented a report through the MKSM governance structure, which sets out the basis for the project to continue. We hope to move from the information gathering and analysis phase into the second phase, which is to formally develop an agreement.
