IESE have recently launched a YouTube channel and a Twitter account.

The YouTube channel currently contains a series of vidoes produced by Oxfordshire County Council and funded by IESE to improve community engagement. They are available to all councils free of charge to assist with individual community engagement programmes and can be viewed here. The videos include How to Vote, How to Complain, How to use your Local Councillor, and How to make a Freedom of Information Request.

If you would like to use the videos, please contact lisa.jeary@southeastiep.gov.uk for permissions.

Recently, a video featuring local councillors and officers has been produced to help explain how IESE has impacted their authorities.

IESE: One Year On:

The IESE Twitter account  is up and running and attracting followers in the shape of councillors, councils, and individuals who just happen to be interested in IESE’s work in the south east. We’ve even received some interest in The Democratic Society’s blog. IESE are building a dialogue with their followers and with those that they follow. If you have an account, or know someone who does, please sign up to see our tweets on your homepage by clicking “Follow” on top of our page. By following, you can receive simple one-line updates on IESE’s programme of work and other comments IESE make on relevant issues.
