Local frameworks for small building projects

Construction_and_asset_management

For local, smaller projects national contractors may not prove to be the best value. Frameworks for these smaller projects are set up in sub-regional “clusters” of authorities, based mainly around county boundaries.

The Framework Lot for projects between £0.5m to £2.5m in Hampshire and adjacent areas (Tier 2) will reach its four year anniversary on 5th November 2011 and therefore no new projects can be procured through this Lot of the Framework after that date.

If you have a project that you would like to put through the framework please contact Mark Thomas before 17th October 2011

How can your council benefit?

Your council can benefit through access to OJEU compliant frame for smaller projects (£10k-£3m) or can become part of larger sub-regional programmes of work to leverage savings through aggregated purchase of common commodities.

Your council can also benefit from access to modern and efficient procurement and project management processes avoiding expensive contract disputes. Plus standardisation through partnership will save design and development time.
