Construction and Asset Management
The Construction and Asset Management programme of work offers a range of procurement and project delivery arrangements to release cashable savings, and is open to all public authorities in the south east.
How can your council get involved?
Over the five year life of each of project, we plan to generate £80million in efficiency benefits across a range of building and highways procurement projects.

Following the issue of a PIN on 7th May and subsequent Supplier day held on 2nd June 2010 Hampshire County Council on behalf of Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) have published an OJEU Notice for:
- IESE South East and London Construction Framework for Major Projects.
- The existing IESE Major Projects Construction Framework will remain operational until July 2011.
- At this time the new IESE Construction Framework for Major Projects will become live.

What did we set out to achieve?
- To provide specialised construction and procurement advice from a local authority perspective
- To provide assistance to councils to enable them to increase value generated from existing property assets
- To facilitate improved quality in construction projects by bringing contractors and consultants into the process early in collaboration
- To provide tried-and-tested methods to make construction projects more predictable giving councils confidence in timescales and budgets
What have we achieved so far?
- Around £39m in efficiency savings have been generated through the regional construction framework
- Several supporting arrangements for procuring supplies and professional services have been established
- Improvements to cost and time predictability have been proven, with IESE projects completed within 8% of the predicted cost and within 5% of the predicted time
