We support two Berkshire Economic Strategy Board Delivery Groups – Strategic Transport, and Sustainable Prosperity, with project funding for joint work. * Develop and implement strategic transport and sustainability schemes * Improve the performance of the Berkshire Authorities through better measurement, understanding and intervention in key services * Make substantial savings through better coordinated procurement berkshire The next step is an improved LTP Assessment including cost avoidance from shared studies and improved contribution to regional transport planning. We are also implementing the Thames Valley Procurement Forum programme of 11 collaborative projects for improvement support, and aim to make further BPSU cash savings of at least £1 million per year.
