  <intro>The Berkshire Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (BIEP) aims to develop strategic transport and sustainability schemes for bidding and implementation across Berkshire. We support two Berkshire Economic Strategy Board Delivery Groups &#8211; Strategic Transport, and Sustainable Prosperity, with project funding for joint work.</intro>

  <targets>The next step is an improved LTP Assessment including cost avoidance from shared studies and improved contribution to regional transport planning. We are also implementing the Thames Valley Procurement Forum programme of 11 collaborative projects for improvement support, and aim to make further BPSU cash savings of at least &#163;1 million per year.
